UCIBIO researchers show the negative impact of cannabinoids in the reproductive health
Bruno Fonseca and Marta Almada, researchers at the Biochemistry Lab at UCIBIO in Faculdade Farmácia - Universidade do Porto (FFUP), are studying the effects of synthetic cannabinoids, as well as phytocannabinoids from the plant Cannabis sativa, in the placenta cells and uterine cells.

The UCIBIO Annual Meeting will be held on 28th and 29th September at FCT NOVA, Campus Caparica.
It will be an excellent opportunity to gather UCIBIO researchers and share our science to enhance/explore further collaborations.
The Scientific Program will count with 3 keynote speakers, invited speakers from industry, presentations and flash presentations on the Thematic Lines, and Poster Sessions.
